Cranford bungalow is located in scenic Diyatalawa, a small hill-station town in the southern tea-growing highlands close to Bandarawela, a busy market town. The bungalow, set 1250 foot above sea level, is approximately 240km or 5.5 hours drive from Colombo.

The five-bedroom property is set in the south-eastern slopes of Sri Lanka’s tea-growing hills and boasts some breathtaking scenery. The bungalow is not attached to a tea estate. A beautiful garden makes for perfect quiet afternoons sipping tea and reading novels. Day excursions are possible to nearby Dunhinda and Diyaluma waterfalls, Horton Plains and Uda Walalwe National Park. The bungalow can be hired as a whole or you can book one of the rooms. There is a resident chef and you do not need to buy your own provisions.

The bungalow has two deluxe rooms with en suite bathrooms that have bath tubs with piping hot water. Both the deluxe rooms, available as singles or doubles, have televisions with local channels. There are also three standard rooms, also with en suite bathrooms, which can used as triple rooms. The resident chef can cook Sri Lankan or western food.
