Located just half a degree below the equator, the lush, tree-filled island of Gan was used by the British as an air force and naval outpost from 1956 to 1976. The handsome building which now houses the reception, bar and restaurant was originally an officers club and the large guest rooms were once accommodation to high-ranking officers.

There are three other islands beyond Gan you can visit and these bikes make them fun to explore.
